This Privacy Policy applies to data Shring Technologies’ collection and use of personally identifying information that Shring Technologies may gather when you contact us, use our platforms, or purchase, license, or use the Shring Technologies Services and Platforms. By installing, accessing, or using the Shring Technologies Services, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information according to this Privacy Policy.
How Shring Technologies Uses Information
Personal Information. Shring Technologies collects personal information relevant to your transactions with Shring Technologies, including your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and credit card information and certain non-personally identifiable information from your computer that reflects your use and configuration of Shring Technologies, including, without limitation, statistics relating to how often backups are started and completed, performance metrics relating to the Software, and configuration settings. This information collected will be sent to Shring Technologies and may be used by Shring Technologies without restriction.
Cookies and Other Technologies. Shring Technologies may use “cookies” and other technologies to collect data that enables us to better understand and improve the usability, performance, and effectiveness of our systems. Cookies are files sent to your browser and stored on your computer. If you do not want Shring Technologies to send cookies to your browser, you can set your browser options to reject cookies or notify you when a platform tries to put a cookie into your browser software. Rejecting cookies may or may not affect your ability to use some features of the Shring Technologies Services.
Shring Technologies gathers general information about our users, the files you have marked for backup, the configuration of your computer and your computer’s interaction with Shring Technologies. Shring Technologies uses this information to provide the service, understand traffic and downloads on our platforms, provide you with technical support, improve our platforms, and provide the best online experience possible for our customers.
Shring Technologies uses Google AdWords
This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the www.betterlifemobility.com website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based marketing entirely by modifying your cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
Use of Your Personal Information. Shring Technologies will not sell your personal information to third parties. Shring Technologies may, from time to time, share with you information about other Services and services that we think you may find to be of interest. If you wish to change the types of communications you receive from us, you may do so by clicking on the appropriate “Manage Communications” link in Shring Technologies’s email communications to you or by emailing your request to Shring Technologies at management@shringtech.com. Please note that opting-out of receiving promotional email will not affect receipt of service-related, transactional, or legal communication via email in accordance with our terms.
Shring Technologies will not view the contents of your backed-up files. Shring Technologies may view your file system information (file and/or folder names, file extensions, sizes etc. but not your file contents) to provide incremental backups and file comparisons, quality control, and technical support. Shring Technologies will not disclose your personal information, including the contents of your backed-up data with Shring Technologies, to third parties unless disclosure is necessary to comply with the law.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Personal Information. You can update your personal information by accessing the password-protected, web-based Shring Technologies customer portal by into support.shringtech.com or emailing Shring Technologies at privacy@shringtech.com.
PLEASE do not send any login or account information in your email. We will never request this type of information unless we are talking directly to you.
Shring Technologies reserves the right to add or modify the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time and this page will be the first place updates.
